About this Program
Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America, affecting one in six men. The Prostate Cancer Foundation is trying to change that by investing in the most promising research into better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Foundation pursues its mission by reaching out to individuals, corporations and others to harness society’s resources – financial and human – to fight this deadly disease.
Athletes for a Cure is a fundraising and awareness program to assist individual athletes in their quest to raise money for better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer. Athletes for a Cure is a community of people who have become part of the solution. Participation in the program is a way to multiply one person’s sense of accomplishment into a cure for millions of men. On behalf of all of us at the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the more than two million men and their families living with this disease, thank you for your involvement and dedication to this cause.
