Kent riding in last year's Athletes for a Cure Triathlon

In October 2007 I was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was devastating news for me and for our family. I thought my life was over because there is no cure for Leukemia. It's a sobering realization to say the least. Two years later after chemo therapy, a "this won't get me" attitude, lots of prayers and overwhelming support - I'm cancer free! Last year's Athletes for a Cure Triathlon was my first return to a race after my recovery. I'm going to keep doing triathlons as a way to stay fit and to keep cancer out of my life forever. All forms of cancer research need funding. Please help me raise this money so that others will have the benefit of a second chance like mine. Know that I am working hard for your support by training and keeping my eye on the big picture - a better life for all of us.
